I know it’s not really in io9's wheelhouse, but so many of us around here seem to love it so, how about that Psych TV movie that’s going into production at the end of the month? :D
I saw those photos and was genuinely like...you get hand picked by designers to go to one of the fucking fanciest parties in the country and you go and snap selfies and smoke in the bathroom like you are at a fucking rave. What is that?
Michael was a beautiful angel, you monster.
I think she’s 90% Tippi and 10% nose.
Dakota deserves a special award, seriously. There is some not-in-the-script magic that she can add, and does, to some of those otherwise mundane scenes. A slight smirk or even a twinklee eye thingy.
She wasn’t in public, though. That’s pretty relevant.
Hm, I had the opposite reaction. I thought the novel’s version of events - where the native man is a hapless idiot - was in poor taste. I didn’t get any impression that the native gods were in play in that story at all. Just that the natives were out there in the darkness and they ultimately took their revenge. I…
I got together with some friends of mine yesterday, one of whom worked for Pence several years ago. She can’t stand him, said his weirdo women-as-only-sexual threats thing permeates his office. He won’t meet with any staff alone if they are female so no women ever were given senior positions. She felt it was a form of…
I don’t really know those games well enough to know strategy or tactics for them. But I’d also say that when it’s for TV (or youtube), you might play out a little differently. It’s also hard to say how familiar the players are with the game; sometimes they’ve run through it ONCE and really don’t know the rules.
Uh huh.
Agriculture in California uses 80% of the state’s water and produces 2% of the state’s economy.
It doesn’t rain for four years, the reservoirs all dry up, the Sierras get almost no snow, and your response is “build more storage and stop building mass transit”?
Let me guess: your solution to climate change is to just make more areas shady so people don’t feel as hot.
I came to the show with no strong opinions about Felicia Day, and I thought she was funny. Her character is sort of a try-hard villain, who vacillates between bold posturing and visible pangs of self-doubt, so some of the qualities that make her seem a little too knowing in other parts work for her on this show.
This isn’t even sort of true
I was really was expecting a bigger pay off with the survivor’s story. All that build up for ... what?
I still think this movie’s “twist” was really dumb and silly, and the fact that he let the girl get away simply because she had self-harm scars (after all that flashback stuff too) was ridiculous.
Women are so poorly represented behind the camera that simply asking for women directors to direct films about women is a revolutionary statement in Hollywood.
Yeah, it’s a choice women can make but if it turns out looking ridiculous then expect people to say so. I wouldn’t make fun of someone for looking bad unless it was a decision they made to spend thousands to look that way on purpose. After that it’s just a poor decision.
Fucking stop with this spam already. She sells a bullshit lip kit and tricked a bunch of morons online into injuring themselves because she lied about how she actually achieves her look - surprise, it’s fucking injections. Just stop. She fucking sucks, and plastic surgery has nothing to do with it (but it’s certainly…
