I felt the same way. For me it was a mild case of meeting your hero, and I walked away feeling like the 911 provided a bit more sense of occasion and overall pleasure. The 987S is a sublime car don’t get me wrong, but its almost too smooth and precise.

It’s probably good to understand the difference no matter when you were born. They’re two totally different words, even though they share some letters.
