It was between a crosstrek a GLA250 and a viper. My wife knew I wasn't ready to be practical yet.

Oh but it’s on YouTube. When my wife gave me the go ahead to buy one I stayed up all night watching it before I flew to Houston to pick one up and drive it home. Never felt so cool (while hot at the same time, because of the lovely exhausts and the terrible AC)

I just said goodbye to my Gen 2 GTS as well. Put 10,000 miles on it in a year of ownership. It was a dream car, but boy am I happy to see it go. Now...it’s a good thing Gen 5's are still so expensive otherwise I’d definitely be saving for one of those.

Again, wrong. Her name is Alanis, not Alissa.

That’s awful and I’m glad you and everyone on the plane is safe. Thanks for sharing. It's a shame there are so many crazy people out there. Glad this one wasn't able to do any physical harm to anyone.

They’re supposed to. In every unit I’ve been in your whole chain of command was in big trouble if you didn’t.

Check out the lotus talk red panda story. Not a storm, but definitely a hilarious thread.

I’m the CEO of Honda and I approve this message, Patrick.

I crashed.

I have toyo r888s on them and they are great as long as it isn't standing water. Driving it to El Paso when I move in a week; hopefully nothing exciting happens on that trip!

No, poor me because it’s just kinda boring. I just find the handling to be dull.

I usually have 2 cars at a time. One of the two is usually up for sale. Hopefully I break even/make profit with it so I can find another. Totally agree with the rotating collection. I’m military so I can’t own that many since I move so much.

Yep, I’ve had an Elise and a classic mini. The thing I’ve taken away from it is that all the numbers and specs about a car mean nothing compared to the pure driving feel.

Get one!

The Elise made me the car nut I am today. I don’t regret selling it because it allowed me to branch out a little and realize what I like.

I don’t mind at all. Several reasons. I had it for 2 years and put 14k miles on it. I drove it about 5 hours to my parents and I did not enjoy the long drive for the first time (I had taken many long drives prior, but this one just was no fun). I also wanted to get into something different because of car ADD, so I

Driving a Lotus is seriously a life changer. I have driven several cars and none have been as exciting or as fun as a Lotus. I’ve been out of my Elise for 6 months and have Evora as a saved search on Autotrader and lotus talk forums. I didnt ever think I’d want to get back in one so fast, but once you are a Lotus
