Is life really that bad for you kids? So much gloom and negativity. I’d hate to see what you would be like if you had to live through REALLY bad times. Like the depression, or World War II. Or waiting to see if you would be drafted and sent to Vietnam.

Dang, I never know about these tests in time to go and see them. I used to have friends on this project (my dad actually worked on the original SLS booster back when it was hercules) but despite this I’ve never seen a live fire.

My wife grilling a steak.

I’m guessing, much like these SRBs, your shorts were also not reusable?

I once lit a fart after a combo of Taco Bell, Deviled Eggs and cabbage the results were quite the same as the video.  My poor girlfriend however has yet to recover.

Most rear steer systems have a “fail safe” design where they’ll simply default back (mechanically) to a straight position when under motion, but we’ll only really know for sure once they start hitting the Buy-Here, Pay-Here lots in about 15 years, with full limo tint, cheap aftermarket wheels and a check engine light

Fuck this:

See Lincoln Navigator. I’ve seen a few rolling around and those are pricy

2nd Gear, Honestly, what do people expect?

Neutral: GM Honda Partnership:

they could just be switching all their lineups over to simpler, less luxurious EV designs right this moment.

Toyota is following the Malibu Stacy formula: now with new hat

Neutral: more than anything, in curious how GM would butcher Honda’s styling. Especially with GM’s penchant for extremely cut and dry rebadging.

Luxury sedans are dead. I’m not even sure Mercedes cares about the S class anymore.

Rechargeable batteries do not use elemental lithium. You can actually put lithium-ion rechargeable battery fires out with water. Most lithium fires are from the cells shorting internally, overheating, and the electrolyte burning.

Disposable lithium batteries on the other hand contain pure lithium. But I wouldn’t think

The same thing if an ICE sucks in water, it stops working. Same rules apply here, keep your parts that need to be dry, dry and you’ll be fine. It’s honestly a lot easier to waterproof an electrical system than it is too one that needs to be open to the outside air to work.

I think this is pretty great. So much opportunity here. Power your camp with the battery. Deep water? No problem - and no snorkel necessary - just put it in EV drive. Need ultra low crawl speed? - EV is good at that. Need instant throttle response in mud? Yep - got you covered. Offroading needs to embrace
