I watch the case and death rates on a state by state basis daily on worldometers.

California, Texas, and Florida and a lot of (conservative) southern states are all on a major upswing on case count, that is true.

But the death rate from cases is plummeting. This is either because the medical procedures for treating

Looks pretty central to me. South central but still central.

Its because nobody really knows jack shit. There is a mountain of what I would call “data noise” out there. News outlets are probably giddy with glee over this. Notice that if you click on just about any article about it whatever that source now wants you to start a subscription?

What I’m frustrated with is how there are SO MANY different data sources out there for COVID-19, and so many reports/tables/graphs that slice and dice said data in very specific ways to fit a narrative. Commentors and opinion pieces written very intelligently and convincingly are everywhere “proving” that the virus is

Chrysler: (eating paste, accidentally sells a shitload of RAM trucks, Jeeps and 12-year-old sedans)

This is ridiculous, David.. A Morning Shift with mostly positive news, no snark, and nary a hint of faux political outrage?

So an AWD van is very appealing. I don’t care if it has a fancy grill and rims

I don’t mind the Rabbiids face. It’s actually refreshing after having every single car try to look intimidating and looking instead like it is carrying about 8 extra cheese pizzas in the back

But WISPR is not designed to image the photosphere, only the corona. One direct look would probably burn it out.

I think I would prefer that all legit supporters be able to attend.

Parker Solar Probe does have a camera - the Wide Field Imager for Solar Probe (WISPR), a two-telescope heliospheric imager.

Man we should have stopped fucking millions of years ago then.

Poison? I’ve been drinking it for 46 years and haven’t died yet. maybe it’s really slow acting and will finally get me when I reach 75-80 years old

It’s a consumption v. production argument w.r.t. CO2 from diary. Should we curtail milk consumption throughout the globe? If consumption isn’t curbed, what’s the best way to produce milk with the lowest CO2 emissions per volume, i.e. CO2 per liter, let’s say.
