Ugh. Gross.
Ugh. Gross.
Anyone see the shifter? Cool linkage, sort of like the Spyker.
I heard this first hand from a cabbie maybe a year ago. Said he worked his whole life as a driver to one day own his medallion, and he paid over $800k for it. Staggering.
Don't have his quote handy from the pre race interviews, but couldn't help but think this was a possibility when he said "WRC cars aren't that hard to drive after driving F1," or something to that effect. Indeed... indeed.
They've taken the Impreza so seriously as a real competitive volume car that the WRX is no longer a real serious enthusiast car. Bland, effectively no power bump, electric steering, CVT, and slower than the previous gen. What's to love here?
Neutral: How Can Volkswagen Be A Hit In The US Again? Much as we love the idea of the GTD, there has to be more than that.
VW, like many brands, has tried to embody several different brand identities. The air cooled crowd still crows about how VW's aren't what they used to be... cheap, reliable, simple, economical transportation. I believe it was here... this article from another source says BMW CONFIRMED manual option in US M3 and M4. Damn conflicting sources.
Agreed. Saw some of their work at SEMA and was not impressed. Awkwardly cut body lines, poorly designed trim pieces, general lack of attention to details. I wouldn't let them touch one of my cars.
Wait this is blowing my mind.
Interior should at least get an 8 out of 10 if it had the beautiful gated 6 speed. Or maybe that clink in the gear change should contribute to the Audio criteria, and would certainly improve the Gearbox score. This will be the last year of any 6-speed manual availability at Lambo, correct?
"dude, you should be going to MIT or something!"
