Exactly... it would be like someone who loves video games putting a bunch of machines in a barn or whatever, and letting his friends come play games there. It is just a hobby taken to a larger extent than most people do.
Oh I heard their customer service was great, but I didnt want to be without my gaming keyboard for long stretches of time to get them replaced. I just dealt with it, until another keyboard found it’s way onto my desk.
Ah... thats the issue then. I have an original K95 that was just white LED, and it started failing after 2 months. Great keyboard, terrible LEDs. Using the keyboard on my desk at work now because it still works really well, but im over 30 failed LEDs now.
I had the original K95, and while its still a rock solid keyboard (actually using it at work in my office) ~30 of the keys no longer have working LEDs. They started failing around 2 months after I had the device, and I brought it to work when my girlfriend bought me a blackadder chroma
