Really? It is usually the "far right" that rails against anything that doesn't fit in their narrow, church-centric views. Granted, that isn't what Kerplunk was saying, but it was how I interpreted his first post.

That we can agree on. Violence towards anyone is abhorrent to me, and there is indeed quite a bit of "porn" that promotes treating someone (men AND women) as someone to be subjugated and dominated. I dont really even view that as traditional porno, and dont really include it in my definition.

It sounded like a very conservative talking point to me. I have know a couple female actors in pornographic movies, and they have all liked their jobs.

Yes, because having sex on camera is always completely equal to the degradation of women. Most of the female porn stars refer to it as empowering. Find a real issue and quit trying to push your conservative close-minded agenda on the rest of us.

This movie was really interesting, but BARELY grossed its budget. I would also like to nominate a couple more that did moderately well at the box office, even though I still view them as extremely underrated.

Actually it was less the bomb on the plane and more the complete and total ineptitude of the government to catch a couple idiots running around with a freaking suitcase nuke. I highly recommend the book by Dave Barry, MUCH more satisfying than the movie.

3000 miles to Graceland was actually pretty damn entertaining... It didnt aim too high, and managed to hit its mark pretty squarely. Kevin Costner as a very bad guy was really believable.

I get actual download speeds of over 3 megabytes (not megabits, im talking true file transfer rate) with Time Warner. I havent had a problem with them so far since i went back to them from ATT DSL. (Speedtest shows never less than 29 megabit down and 6 up)
