Yes. It is well established that police cannot kill someone merely for running from them.

With a drink holder that large, I’m thinking range is going to be determined by the capacity of the driver’s bladder rather than battery size.
I can see sticking to OEM tires with supercars and exotics, but not for regular-ass cars. Exotics have weird sizes that aren’t normally found in the aftermarket so if you own an exotic, you have no choice. OEM tires are good for most conditions but don’t specialize in anything. But they also cost a lot more.
The PT Cruiser was just good enough when it started in 2000, but not when it went out in 2010 as the same car.
Flawed, not bad. We should regard it about the same as the New Beetle, another retro econocar cobbled together from parts bin stuff with some quality issues (although the PT Cruiser is at least more practical than the Neon it was based off of, while the Beetle is less useful than a Golf unless you’re prone to wearing…
And every comment like this reminds me of some insecure person who is constantly thinking about other's genitals and how it correlates with their automotive preferences. We get it, you don't like trucks, but WHY do you roll that into imagining the size of a person's genitals? That's weird and disturbing behavior.
Agreed but can you imagine the headlines? “THE RADICAL WOKE LEFTISTS ARE COMING FOR YOUR TRUCKS!” Goddamn it... now I did it. This comment will probably be picked up and repeated on Fox before lunchtime.
Another good idea poorly executed. A better and more fair option would be to delete the gas tax and make both types pay a per-mile-driven tax based on weight and size. If you want to encourage ev adoption, keep the gas tax but call it a carbon tax and use those proceeds for healthcare.
Lost my pops last December before last and he had bought a Harley some 10 years ago. He wanted me to have it even though I’m not:
2nd Gear: Plug-Ins
Who are plug in hybrids for? Honestly, they’re for people like me. Every other week I have to drive between 400 and 500 miles to Ohio in pretty much whatever weather god decided to throw at the midwest. The rest of the time, I don’t have to drive that much- I work remote and when I’m at home, aside…
Old enough to remember...
The wording for the various state laws appear to simply refer to “mirror” or “mirrors”; some regulations specify that they must “reflect” a view of the road behind the vehicle to the driver, which could be argued to exclude digital rearview mirrors. Many states require two, one mounted on the left side of the vehicle,…
ACAB, but also... no. No one deserves summary execution by the state.
Is the Rivian R1T not also a mid-sized pickup truck on sale in the US?
Especially at the beginning of their careers.
You’re mistaken if you believe that all, or even most, lawyers and software engineers make $500K+ yearly. To be sure, SOME do, but the vast majority would probably consider HALF that figure to be a very good year.
My 993 is worth more than a new car, and I happily paid a little more so I can can listen to my music and sort through my songs without having to pick up my phone. It’s nice to be able to take a roadtrip and have a GPS that isn’t suction cupped to my windshield.
Eat shit.
F1 is a league though, not an open race meet. You can’t just enter a team in the NFL or the EPL.
Bitter enough to make this actually happen I hope.
But that $40k buyer may be swayed into buying an EV due to the tax break that reduces the net cost verus buying a gas crossover in the low 30k range. The average car goes for about $36k-ish so having the tax credit get EVs closer or below average is smart for the typical buyer. I agree there needs to be more EVs in…
