What’s a “classic”? Where’s the line?!??

I was driving cars in the 80's and I now see people fawn over “classic cars” from that era. Cars that I would have NEVER bought back then because they were under powered piles of plastic and everyone went around talking about how inferior they were.

Give it another couple years

The car immediately behind the Tesla stopped short of hitting him.

Just give me a wire. I don’t (usually) have to troubleshoot a wire....

I would have assumed some not-super-rich country in need of a new “Air Force One” equivalent would have jumped in. No retrofit needed - other than to tone a few things down a bit.  I assume, being built for a Saudi Prince, it’s already equipped with some basic security features they would appreciate.

I realized it was over when we had a bunch of dead 5 year olds in Connecticut and we still refused to change a god damned thing.

I moved from the Denver area to Seattle 5 years ago. Truthfully - I think driving in winter weather is more difficult here.

Neutral:

Isn’t it obvious? Get on the internet and loudly complain. As you do, make sure to lose all nuance and detail and pin it squarely on your political enemies and how stupid they are compared to you and your ilk.

My first vehicle was dubbed “baby shit yellow” by my sister.

My perception is there’s a shift happening - oddballs are getting more valuable. The price of a restored Mustang (for example) isn’t exactly dropping (or even staying steady) but it’s not growing the way oddballs are growing - especially if that oddball is in as good of condition as this is.

While I 100% agree with the popular comments calling for an end to rolling coal being the #1 issue, I’m really surprised I’m not seeing a thread for “loud exhaust”.

Hey “neighbor”. I live near the Ford dealer in Snohomish and, ditto to what you said. It’s sparse....

I don’t know how anyone can make a blanket statement like this.

While I 100% agree with your assessment - keep in mind Jaguars still sell quite well and still for a premium. And that’s all the people in charge give a crap about....

Ok, I hate Donald trump as much as the next guy, but some the gripes are legitimate...

It’s impressive but not the biggest:

I helped my then-girlfriend buy a Saaburu so my experience with them isn’t nil.

This is the first I’ve _ever_ heard this nonsense. It sounds like urban legend spread by bitter Subaru fanboys who want to pin Subaru’s head gasket issues on a scapegoat. What better scapegoat than the hated GM acting like they always know

You’re assuming just drinks.

I lost all respect for Doug - and quit watching - when he went apeshit in a video because the highbeam dimmer switch was on the floor and he said he’d never seen that before.
