Serious question....

For all of the people in these comments screaming “just give me a manual wagon!” there are, roughly, 2500 people who say nothing of the sort.

It’s not just the fabs themselves, either.

I get the jeans joke but, actually, they’re going to be wearing $1000 Arc’teryx jackets matched with $500 heated gloves, both purchased last week at REI.

Because that’s who gets on an airplane to ski at Telluride. These are people already divorced from reality; I’m not sure why we expect them NOT to get on a plane.

In no way to I defend Michigan lawmakers - it’s BS - but didn’t Rivian buy the old Mitsubishi plant in central Illinois as their manufacturing facility?  Did that tick off the MI lawmakers and make this not as shocking?

If I had to outright purchase the thing doing the function - the sewage treatment plant - and then still had to pay a monthy fee to access it? Yes, I would consider this a subscription.
