I loved that episode so much! It really showed how debilitating anxiety can be and sometimes how partners can fuck up. Crying and finally voicing his anxiety really helped Yuri out.

Plus, Pokemon you obtained through other means didn’t count. If egg hatching was included in the tally, competitive breeders could have probably made it to 100 million all by themselves. I hatched 78 Mimikyu over the weekend, for example. The number of Pokemon I caught during that same time was zero.

It didn’t help that the pokemon we previously caught weren’t counted. They put the challenge a few weeks after the release, and a lot of players actually finished the game. I only caught some pokemons missing from my pokedex, and tried to shiny hunt.

+1 to that, I LOVE the “Games you might have not play” spirit. I love it, because as a Dev. it give me a showcase of things I would not normally google.
