Ya, that sounds pretty dumb. You presume to be a motorcycle reviewer, but literally can’t/won’t generate any experience that speaks to a sizable portion of the audience. You seem like kind of an asshole to be honest.

Fuel injection came ‘07 btw.

Huh? Why is his 18 mpg worse than your 18mpg?

So is this the article before the I’m out of here article? Seems awfully cranky even for Jalopnik as of late.

Bradley, Bradley, Bradley......

^ This guy gets it.

National sovereignty has been an issue as long as there have been nations.

Thank you, David, for your consistent ability to write an interesting blog article, without leftist/socialist snark, political commentary, pandering to the SJW crowd or climate alarmists, etc. I have no idea what your political affiliation is, what your beliefs are, etc. - and that’s awesome, because that’s not why I

This sort of repeated perspective on this site makes me cringe. The site sucks more and more each time you publish shit like this, which is increasingly often. You (the site, not the author) need writers with different perspectives. This is the reason “stick to sports” was ever mentioned.

Looks are in the eye of the beholder, so I guess if you like what it looks like, great. Many seem to find it ugly; in any case its polarizing, which is not something you want in your best selling vehicle.

Because GM is purely reactionary, and constantly makes bad decisions for the moment, not the future. The Volt is one of the most loved cars by owners, many surveys have shown. So of course GM kills it off.

I really respect these folks for giving the appearance a little traditional flair instead of resorting to the usual awkward out of proportion snouts these vehicles nearly always have to wear.

Neutral:  I have concerns that we’re all spending a lot of money on something that isn’t and likely won’t be a viable long term solution for transport.  I dunno what will be the solution, but I don’t see how it can be batteries.

...shiny and chrome. Like Holden.

A (begrudged) star for you.

Yes, they need to make a smaller mid-size truck! The Dakota stood apart from the crowd originally because it was the ONLY mid-size truck. Now, we have a plethora of meh mid-size trucks, so Ram needs to stand out with a SMALLER mid-size truck. I used to own a ‘92 Dakota and it was the perfect size.

I can’t believe the utter stupidity of the Big 3 in discontinuing their midsize pickups. How do you justify killing a uniquely-sized, popular, profitable vehicle like the Dakota? The Big 3 continue to think they can cut and save their way to growth.

I’m most excited by the idea of a midsizer with coil springs like the Ram has. It would offer a noticeable ride advantage. However, to expedite the project the Dakota might be based on a PSA truck platform after the merger, which would mean no neat Ram engineering.

Neutral: Would You Ever Apply For a 69-Month Car Loan?

If only these supposed "car journalists" could be this detailed about anything mildly car related and not political.
