Ditto to that. My 14 does the same with an enclosed trailer. My boat drops it to 14 MPG. Towed the same boat with my fathers ecoboost and 11 MPG. Could be worse.

People who make decisions like that may be flawed or stupid, but not everyone does.

Seriously, use ear plugs. The OSHA standard for workplace noise is less than 90 dB for 8 hours. That’s the equivalent of being in a boiler room all day. You really want to be under 85 dB.
