I would be thrilled to see a Ram mid-size built on the Wrangler platform. This gives us body-on-frame, and a manual transmission with 4WD (something that the other domestic manufacturers don’t offer.)

I think that broker just finds advertisements online and posts ads for them (generally without the owners knowledge.)

Disagree.

I’ve had good luck with Avon Radiator located on Auburn and Livernois, they re-cored a 1987 Dakota radiator for me years ago.

I’m sure I will be in the minority, but the Pan America “adventure” bike looks pretty cool. I imagine it will do relatively well as most GS bikes are just used for highway commuting (while seeing the occasional fire road).

Tell me where a F-150 is available with a Turbo-4?  Last time I checked, only the new variant of Silverado/Sierra have a Turbo-4, the 2.7L.

It would typically sit in 5th running 3k RPM. I anticipate if I had the 3.92 that it would be more likely to run in 6th or 7th.

I agree that the fuel economy could be better. I got 10MPG towing with my 16MY Laramie, and I only had the 3.21 gears!

I believe Chicagoland is in “Joliet”, not “Joilet”.

I really like these cars. An acquaintance of mine had one with a VERY healthy 2.8L V6 in high school and it was a blast to drive.

They beefed up the transmission and front/rear axle. Doesn’t mention any updates being made to the transfer case. If it hasn’t been touched, I would expect it to cause the new owner grief in no time flat (even though they are fairly robust).

You must have a V6. Sorry to hear.

As much shit as everyone gives it, there is a time and a place for it. A person buying a base model Journey doesn’t give a shit about how many gears it has, as long as it gets them from point a to point b and gets OK mileage.

05 Dakota has a 5-speed automatic.

There has never been a Dakota with a 10k tow rating. The 318 was a great engine, but that truck is probably somewhere in the 5-6k range for towing capacity.

That is a sweet helmet!

A fool and his money...

Huge Evil Dead/AoD/AvED fan and I was disappointed with the conclusion as well.

And all of the V8 FWD cars loved shitting their 4-speed automatics all over the place (particularly the Pontiacs, as being for the younger crowd they were abused the most it seems).
