I had a feeling this would happen when Univision took full control of Fusion back from co-owing it with Disney. The Jim Henson Company and Disney have a history together, so it's natural that once Disney left, shows from that era would begin to fall.

If I wanted to start watching Arrow, but didn't want to watch the show described in the first paragraph of this review, where would be a good place to start? Coming from somebody who started by watching The Flash, but has no prior comic knowledge of either.

I think the issue with Letterman was he got kind of lazy in his later years. The guy who is praised by nearly all current comics as being revolutionary to Late Night and comedy in general was just doing the same old tired routine by the end. I don't think there are many people under 35 who really appreciate who he was

And to add to that, CBS now owns the entirety of The Late Show, which means that they get any and all revenue generated by the show. Previously they only got the TV ad revenue while Letterman’s Worldwide Pants studio got the other streams. So right off the bat, they’re making more money off of Colbert than Letterman.

Jesus, I haven't seen that since it came out. What a gut punch. And right after the Biden stuff too.

She's pretty popular with fans of Comedy Bang Bang and other Earwolf shows. Her Hollywood Handbook appearances are great and she was on the famous Analyze Fish episode of Analyze Phish where her, Paul F. Tompkins, and Howard Kremer talked about Jaws with Harris and Scott.

"It Chad to be you"

It was probably Cody's fault.

I've been interested in this every since Colbert raved about it on the Late Show podcast. Is it really just a guy talking about historical events?

I feel like Bobcat might be finding a new audience in people in their 20s who are entirely unfamiliar with his character. I was first exposed to him on an episode of Harmontown. And he said he likes going up for random sets at the Meltdown, so he might realize this too.

The "is this song a U2 song" game was one of my favorite things ever.

She was? I actually saw that movie and don't remember her.

And Jon Daly really wants a 1-10 grading scale.

They've already played plenty of songs not on Apple Music. It's kinda annoying when you hear something and want to add it to your library and it's not there.

I kinda enjoyed how adamant Paul was to keep his character from being interesting.

Kumail has solidified his place in my heart when he insisted they call China again.

Oh boy, I'm listening through James Bonding because of Matt Gourley and it's so weird when Mira butts in. Especially on episodes where a talented improv/comedian is on. Gourley and the guest are riffing and it's hilarious and then Mira butts his head in and ruins any flow or rapport the two professionals were having.

Yeah, I wasn't sold right away, but the belt buckle episode converted me. The video store premier had such a blah ending that I thought the whole show would end on notes like that. But hearing how much it touched Hans Jordi to get the buckle back and how the customer support rep opened up in the Britney episode really

It looks a lot like the Speakeasy set. Although maybe bars just look similar.

Most pre-recorded specials are filmed twice and the best bits from both are edited together into what gets broadcast.
