I find this kind of ironic. Tesla’s brand is built on being green. The compute and network transit costs of every Bitcoin transaction are wildly carbon-expensive compared to conventional transactions.

Wait til people find out how expensive cop cars (and motos) are.
I’ve had the videopass for a few years now and I find it really worth it.
A few more things I like: you can watch any session ‘ambient’ without announcers. I like to do this in the off season when I leave races on in the background to kind of refresh myself what happened and what summer feels like. It’s like fast…
For real
I’m in Reno. Can I uh, borrow it, to corroborate the whistle, ya know.
Didn’t the whole F1 program become the GR German operation that built their LMP1s and did a whole lot of other things too in the 12 years since? Pretty sure... fair enough F1 wasn’t successful but they definitely used the years of investments to write themselves into motorsports history in a big way.
Something similar has worked out really well in MotoGP. Less successful teams have had more leeway to develop engines (and therefore chassis, engine mount locations are critical to handling) and in the past 7 years we’ve gone from having a Yamaha v Honda situation, to 4 manufacturers realistically vying for the…
Depending on how fast folks drive on that 4 lane highway, it might be sketchy. This should top out around 60 depending on the rider. City and country roads would be ok.
The production process of battery electric cars emits about 15% more CO2 than a comparably sized ICE vehicle.
You can at least mention that it’s his house and that Luca is his brother. But they are great riders no doubt, Luca is the shoe in for the Moto2 title next year imho.
I was shocked to find out that electric cars are only about 50% better than gas cars at reducing carbon emissions over the lifetime of the vehicle. I thought it was at least an order of magnitude, but it’s not (not yet at least). Basically, producing a 1.5 ton battery for every car is extremely carbon expensive. A…
Seconded. The thing is- car design By and large doesn’t take a lot of risks. They could have still done something edgy and unique. But this just looks like they didn’t try. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we hear down the road that Elon strong armed the design team to just build whatever he scribbled on a napkin…
You nailed it.
Very interested. Ridgelines are nice, but big(ish) and cost nearly $40k. If this came to market and was a touch smaller and came around the $30k mark w/ awd I’d be very interested.
How much fun is it?
