My mother wasn’t toxic, but she isn’t great. She doesn’t really know how to be supportive. I believe that she loves me, but doesn’t know how to show it. I don’t think I’m a great parent either. I’m more demonstrative than my mom, but I yell a lot and get frustrated and sometimes I feel like I am horrible.
