Typically there is some slow poke tourist driving in front of you, so you don’t really get to drive fast. Now with Supercruise you can join the slow poke tourist and just enjoy the scenery.

Maybe she ran for city council to get out of having to pay for her traffic violations, kind of like how Warren G Harding supposedly ran for president because he wanted to use the campaign money he raised to pay off his mistress.

Something tells me she asks to speak to the manager A LOT.

i have travelled the width of Pennsylvania countless times.  I grew up and my family is still in NW PA, but for 30 years I lived in Philadelphia.  I-80 is the way to go, but yes, in the summer time the pennsylvania state flower (the traffic cone) is in full bloom, just accept it.  for traffic, i guess it depends on

When people say Ohio, they really mean I-90/I-80/the turnpike west of Cleveland. It’s glacial till with nothing but corn, soybeans, and wheat. I grew up there, but now live in Columbus. You’re absolutely correct about anywhere in Ohio that didn’t get graded by glaciers, especially southeast around the Hocking Hills.

When you hit someone with your car, you fucking stop and at the very least see if they’re ok. Regardless of who’s at fault.

Ohio sucks because most of the “through” parts of the state - north/south, east/west - pass through either flat farmland or endless suburban sprawl.

But if you’re taking Route 35 or 33 diagonally across the state - say you’re driving from Michigan/Chicagoland to the Carolinas - you pass through the heavily forested,

You’re driving through the wrong part of Ohio. I live in the 40% of the state that is basically West Virginia Lite, it’s nothing but winding roads, hills, and trees.

Counterpoint: Driving through the mountains for hours just to get to the beach is just as tiring. Or the 7+ hour drive home in the middle of the night

I’ve never driven through Nebraska, but I have driven to Nebraska. I-80 across Iowa is mind numbing enough. The occasional stench of pig farms is the only thing keeping you awake.

80+ degree water can be very refreshing if its 105+ out.

This ^^^ lmao yall wanting cold water are calling 79° cold or you have no idea what cold water really feels like.

If you do that in Germany, be careful the pigs don’t steal your trunks when you aren’t watching them.

Has Rivian thought of selling their truck for less?

Chen says those companies had more time to ramp up production or do some manufacturing overseas, thus their manufacturing costs are lower. That means they can sell vehicles at a lower price.

I want someone to fix it and make it amazing. Bass-boat metal-flake paint job. Better wheels. Period interior. Maybe a Subaru H6 motor.

No amount of free candy is getting me into that modefiled mess.

The obvious answer is the original modern EV: the GM EV-1

Aside from many excellent suggestions mentioned like the PT Cruiser, I’ll suggest one that nobody has mentioned that I think would be great... the GM “dustbuster” vans from the 1990s... the Lumina APV/Pontiac Trans Sport/Olds Silhouette:

Oldsmobile Aurora.
