i think that is just a symptom of being in your mid-20's.

I learned this about myself in my mid 20s. I felt like I had seen and done a lot of interesting shit, being an American who lived in Germany for 5 years with the army, deploying to the middle east as an officer, and whatnots, and I couldn’t wait for an opportunity to relate to people through anecdotes from that time.

“This basically confirms we aren’t reverse engineering any extraterrestrial aircraft in a secret “skunk works””

Look at it! $2500!

Slushbox; strike one.

Quite honestly, the entire headline and opening paragraph reeked of being too cute with the writing stylistics, because I couldn’t really understand what was accomplished without several re-reads.

You know he didn’t design it otherwise it would look like something like this, inside and out.

Which is really only one step removed from “I’m not denying the Holocaust was a horrible atrocity, I’m just asking questions!”

Don’t forget the tobacco industry.

Pinpoint the source and hit it with a dense-cloud smoke bomb. Non-lethal but shields aircrew from direct attacks.

They don’t need to hold it. They just need to hit the windshield for a split second. These high power green lasers are insanely bright and beam is wide and diffuse at that distance. The windshield diffracts it so the windshield lights up like a flash bulb. If your eyes are well adjusted to the darkness of a cockpit

What about the bearings.  These mower engines normally don’t have big end bearings, they just wear the crank and rod.  It seems like the added torque will kill this thing in short order.

“Sorry, the HARM’s set up to launch automatically when it detects a threat. Did anyone aim radar or lasers at the aircraft?

They used to pay me to fly in these

God bless our cash cow, may it always be bountiful and shield us from China.

I mean, that last question was rhetorical, right? Because, 100%, we’re the biggest suckers for this.

For some reason a large portion of the country doesn’t understand that we live in a global society/economy.

One time I was asked to meet someone at the corner of Peachtree and Peachtree (something). I am not kidding.

But it doesn’t come with mirrors.

Some places named "plantation" there. I noticed.
