I get that every once in a while an actor or actress has to professionally eat shit, so I understand the logic that it’s probably not her fault; but I still don’t really like Charlize Theron and in my mind Aeon Flux is definitely a reason why.

I think they’re beautiful, not only aesthetically but because I also get a good feeling from knowing what they do as I watch them.

cp only because i worked for BMW for some years and found i disliked this generation the most. Bloated, the worst version of iDrive, cheap materials through the interior... One of the techs liked to complain about rear suspension longevity as well.

You think you’d hear about this way more than once though, if every time a Tesla depleted its charge that it could not be recharged. Still it does seem pretty clear that the failure has something to do with the unusually low current over time conditions of the record attempt. It’s as if based on the past 600 miles

I’m not really a jeep enthusiast and even I can admit that it looks rather handsome

this is precious

I heard Yanny at first but pretty much immediately afterward could only hear Laurel because I was training my brain to hear that and now it’s stuck on it. I can sort of hear Yanny in the high treble part but it doesn’t sound like english.

As the police escorted him out the staffer should have quipped “say hi to your kids for me”

I got bored with my BMW 330Ci about 6 months after picking it up, because the clutch, brake bias, power band, throttle response, steering wheel and gearbox all feel like they were chosen for people who don’t actually care about a sporty car beyond what they look like being seen in one.

“comments are disabled for this video” HMM I WONDER WHY

what about my girlfriend’s ipod nano. no combination of button presses does anything nor does my mac recognize it when i plug it in

Pretty sure you don’t thread a cable through it rather than plug a cable into the side of it.

GIEF BRINGS TH GRIEF

I’ve found, at least with my grip, that as tight as I can make it with one hand is roughly 3/4 turn from seating the gasket, so that’s the measure I use. Unless the car has a cartridge type filter in which case I go by whatever torque is listed on the canister’s cap, but those are even less torque, usually *juust*

Pretty much. Audio recorded from the point of view would have been at least pretty inconvenient. There may be other physical/technical difficulties that come from reel-to-reel tape recording from inside a moving car as well, but yeah by today’s standards it’s extremely easy to tell it was dubbed.

It is beautiful, but I wish it wasn’t better with the sound off, or rather that the sound were recorded naturally from the point of view. Old school sound editing, while heroic by today’s standards, is just far too easy to pick up on and gives the whole thing a fake tone. At least to me.

oh man. please come to connecticut and help me with the final assembly on my dad’s healey.

It’s got a devastating ending? GREAT. THANKS.

wow, I’ve actually never seen drunk driving like this before. I mean, I’ve driven a couple times more tipsy than I care to admit but this must be absolutely faced.

I never took mine to a dirt track but the i3 was definitely the most interesting car I’ve ever owned, and a close 2nd to the most fun car I’ve ever owned (my old SR swapped S13 coupe). People don’t like the way they look, which is fine, but most are so vain that they won’t even give it a chance, and that’s too bad.
