My guess is to be able to carry consumables -- range extension is about more than just carrying more batteries for the rover, after all.  It’s also about carrying more oxygen for the crew.

Buying a used aircraft is just the beginning of the expense though. Pilot, fuel, maintenance, registration, etc, etc. 

Nah, private jet or choppers are way way more expensive than this. Private jets start at around $2000 per hour, plus fuel, parking, etc.

Good point. It would be just the incremental emissions from the transportation activity. Hard to measure, even harder to get an EPA estimate for each vehicle owner/operator.

Not true of EVs anymore, there are tons of videos of them doing back-to-back passes with no issues. ICE cars also aren’t flawless and will get hot with repeated passes.

Around here Prius’ are driven just like every other car on the road.  not sure where you’re getting your experience from - but it’s completely at odds with what I’ve seen.

I know this site is mainly just clickbait now, but be serious for one second please. Mansory has never improved the look of a vehicle and the Purosangue is a neat design. Writing drivel like this is just going to further erode your dwindling user base.
