Maybe the word “idiot” is not helpful in this context. But they are clearly, from the beginning of the show to the end, massively, almost incomprehensibly incompetent.

Not one of them is capable, in any way, of functioning in either the real world or the business realm. Kendall screws up multiple attempts to take over

Any plane that is flying right now took off more times than it landed.

Even though they “lost,” these bastards will still receive billions of dollars as a consolation prize, without the burden of taking on their father’s legacy. I hope we’re not supposed to feel sorry for anyone. I can only dream of losing so spectacularly.

I won't stand for luca slander! That film was wonderful. How was it a flop?

Every actor has worked on bad movies at some point in their career.

So was it a good deal or not?

Just about any story can be bulleted, as you did, to a boring and simplified mess. Your ability to do that is not a sound counter to what was proposed.

Not if you’re wearing motorcycle gear. Your fault if you ain’t prepared for the ride.

Con Air was fucking fantastic. I can’t believe anyone would say “nobody remembers it”. It’s one of the best action movies of that era.

I don’t think anyone has forgotten:

Con Air is a ridiculous film, but also a very memorable one, and for the same reasons. I never tire of watching it!

I get why most of the movies on this list are forgotten. But “Con Air” is one of those movies I personally find very rewatchable... I guess it’s a guilty pleasure, but it also seems pretty ubiquitous on streaming platforms and cable TV and seems to have become part of the pop culture zeitgeist.

Tenenbaums and Budapest both had seriously quirky characters, but he remembered to build a humanity that made you care about them.

I absolutely adore Grand Budapest Hotel with every fibre of my being but didn’t even bother finishing French Despatch. Think I got through about half of it before I just got up and went to do something else.

Why not just report on what Netflix is doing? This was a weird way of delivering news. Literally zero details on the Netflix story. Were all users notified? Will they be following the same rules that were teased before? Did they make any changes to account for people who are in college or travel a lot?

I’ll watch this because I give every Anderson movie a shot, but French Dispatch was like a soulless parody of his style. I found it completely uninvolving and really hope he doesn’t disappear up his own ass like that this time out as well.

Just like in America.

Saw it last night. It’s one of the best MCU movies. Lower stakes than normal, which is a good thing, as it is more personal and affecting. I teared up a couple of times, as did several others in the audience, judging by the sniffles and eye wipes around me.
