Not a car but a bike, Honda Xr650L, released in 1992, still on sale unchanged (other than paint and graphics). It is a solid, simple, rugged bike, so it is not shocking that it is still wanted, but the lack of update in it’s 30+ year run is something to gawk at.

Peak Group B Rally from the eighties (Renault Turbo, Metro 6R4, Peugeot 205 turbo, the classics...)

That Viper license plate, lol.

It acts like shifting into lower gear to save your brakes. Works really well for downhill sections. B = Brake

Excellent article! AV Club needs more like this.

So, no old mentor/buddy character? Better be a polar bear in there somewhere.

I can’t stress enough how meaningful the giraffe scene was in the first game. It’s a beautiful moment, and one of the reasons The Last of Us Part 2 is a lesser work to the original, imo because there’s nothing like that in there.

We drove our 2nd gen Prius until 191,000 miles, got totaled in a collision, what did I replace it with? Another 2nd gen Prius, this one has 184,000 miles and I’m expecting another 100,000 out of it at least.

Fire Chief Kevin Wingbermuehle told reporters that the firefighter driving the truck reacted quickly to minimize any damage to the neighborhood.

Close thread, best reply given.

Hmm, when I traveled back to the old country, we borrowed vehicles from my father in law, once a Talbot-Matra, and another time an Opel Ascona 1.6 (although a sedan).

In what universe the P1800 is unimpressive???

You have a 62 Impala convertible with a lot of investments in hydraulics and customization, and you leave it on the street overnight, and it gets stolen, shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit partner, that’s all in the game.

Just a minor thing, the image on page 4 is a milk tanker. If you get your images from Getty, might as well grab something closer to the story.

Specifically 2nd gen Prius, I had one at 191,000 miles (got totaled in a collision), and before the hit, it was functioning as it was when my dad drove it off from the dealership new. Everything worked, the only thing I had to replace was the 12V battery, once. Daily driver for the wife, long family trips with two

Came here for this car, make it the R5 Turbo and I’m all in (although the Turbo is not unimpressive by any means, but still want to mention it).

Exactly like this, lets say you have 10 files to load, files 1-9 are smaller and the 1oth file is large. The load progress only counts the files loaded, so 1-9 goes quickly and it shows 90%, then the 1oth files takes a considerably longer time to load, so the user just see the 90% display for a longer time.

Either the “big” plane was landing on the wrong runway (highly unlikely, but possible), or the “little” plane entered onto the runway because, either Ground ATC cleared them incorrectly, or the crew incorrectly identified their location, or clearance. A report will clear this soon, hopefully there is no mystery of the
