Same here, I ride currently ride an 03 z1000 and was thinking to get the latest version, but this FZ is only a thousand more and gets you traction control/ride modes/cruise control/ABS and more HP. The Z1000 is a bit behind in tech. You should check out the FZ-09 too, lot of bike for far less money.
