“First day, what a deal! Instead of ten years prison time I was supposed to be sentenced to, they give me a chance of freedom if I can make it through this maze. And to sweeten the deal even more, they said that once I made it out I’ll need not worry anymore about every expenses in my life. Everything will be taken

Jeez that sounds like some sci-fi book storyline. Generations of people in a caravan working through a massive maze. Nobody still lives that saw the entrance, and nobody alive will come close to the exit.

....are you reading the comments you’re replying to? I have no idea where your nazi references are coming from, but feminism and veganism are different but quite comparable movements. Or are you trying to say I’m a nazi for asking people to consider why they’re so aggressive towards people who don’t want to

this article is too mocking for the content. Wtf is wrong with someone speaking out against animal cruelty? I mean, the “it’s probably noise” thing is super in-depth analysis no doubt, but it seems like it’s probably her work against the Swiss traditions that hurt animals like the committee admitted. In Trump’s media

Engraved tablets, that’s what you need if you want it to really last.

Replace the word vegan with feminist and think about how you sound.

Good for you! I recently attended a dinner party that, after the fact, I discovered was vegan. I didn’t really notice. It was a pot luck (I brought wine) and it went great and no one really mentioned why there were no dead animals on the menu. Or why different things were made out of nut paste rather than cows’ milk.

Pen shopping is an underrated pleasure. Actually unknown to MANY. Alla these high tech heifers be stealin’ pens from doc’s offices, business places, mom’s house.

It’s interesting, I feel like vegans/vegetarians/etc get a reputation for being really radical, pushy, and annoying but most of the ones I know are quiet about it and just stick to their beliefs/motivations for doing so, they don’t care about what other people do.

I’m not sure, but I wondered that too. I suspect that left-leaning people like making fun of vegans because it feels nice not to be on the fringe sometimes, and to be able to point at someone and say “see, they’re the real crazy ones!”

Vegans, like everyone else, range in intelligence. I think most moderately intelligent vegans know that there’s no such thing as a 100% vegan lifestyle and that all human activity means that some animals, as you say, are going to suffer. As my friend, who’s been vegan for over 20 years says, he still rides in cars

I’m not a vegan. But the scientific illiteracy of people who worry about “getting enough protein” is one of my pet peeves. It is virtually impossible to not get enough protein if you live in a developed nation, regardless of whether you consume animal products. And you do not need to seek out extra protein just

I definitely understand that kneejerk reaction to vegan politics. But I don’t think we can assume that this woman is “a certain type of vegan.” The title of this article, which calls her “too annoying” reeks of sexism. Yes, there are many unbearable vegans. Some of them are women. All of them seem to be on youtube.

The problem is, vegans rage against vegetarians, even. They want to destroy flexitarians like me. They are never gonna get anywhere if they don’t realize most people are not gonna commit to veganism, but that if most people at least moved from the traditional Western diet to closer to what an average Chinese person

Ahhhhh, Jezebel’s vegan hatred raises its ugly head again. Despising / bashing / mocking people for caring about something you can’t be bothered to care about (you know - climate change, human rights violations, animal abuse, environmental racism, and all the other horrors that are part and parcel of animal

No, I live in the US (hence the reference to US politics). People here are entitled to think I’m not one of them / you and to tell me so, but the difference between me and this poor woman is that my citizenship is not dependent on their opinions.

I’m curious what this site seems to have against vegans in general. There seem to be a lot of articles bashing them for random reasons, like the YouTube articles. And granted, Freelee and her kind are insane, but there are crazy, clickbait YouTubers for every subject matter imaginable.
