Bowie + Smiths + Neil Young.
Bowie + Smiths + Neil Young.
You are wrong.
"The Imitation Game" should get NOTHING.
I like the travel periods in open world games, at least as long as there are no timers or RPG-style random encounters to ruin them.
"Mirage" over "Then Play On…"?! You've got to be fucking kidding me.
It's also on HD-DVD! Which… does anyone have a player for those anymore?
There are so many great ones out there, many mentioned in the article, and I'm sure many in the comments, and I went through a few from various series over the years before finally settling on my pick:
Ahh, right. I obviously misunderstood what you meant. You're correct about that.
Well, I mean, there is a lot known about the plot:
- Dystopian future
- People in cities living more-or-less in pods with entertainment beamed to them
- A mostly agrarian counter-culture living out in the fields
- A romance between two teens, one of whom is detailed in the song "Mary"
- An evil leader who also seeks Mary,…
Agreed! I mean, the movie wouldn't be the same as it would have been back in the '70s (certainly less insane at the very least) but I'd still love to see what would come of it.
Well, the concept of that was "these are songs that this band we're pretending to be would sing," which is about the loosest concept I can think of.
…or Derek Milbocker.
Fair enough. I can get behind that, but at the same time, I'd rather the series' legacy not end up more tarnished than it already is.
The fourth Dan Harmon season was mostly great, but after the complete shittiness of that last two-parter, I'm finally ready to just say goodbye to the show and pretend that "G.I. Jeff" was the final episode.
"Made in Heaven" was alright, but you can definitely tell where they re-used bits of vocals from old tracks because they ran out of unused stuff.
Worst episode? No.
Terrible episode? Yes.
It's as bad as the majority of the gas-leak year, which (aside from "Basic Human Anatomy" which is very good) falls squarely between D+ and F.
The only time I ever nicked something pop=culture related was a free promotional card from some collectible card game out of a magazine.
I agree with all of that.
I disagree. Pilate is the clear antagonist of the trial, albeit a sympathetic one. Mary only has one song in the original, and even in the expanded film score, she's just a supporting role.
Frankly… this was kind of terrible.
