I dont think youre being a dick. My general point is that in the hierarchy of cars vs cyclists vs pedestrians we should always evaluate it via who can do the most harm to whom.

good for you! Im sure you made an excellent teachers pet. Unless im back in my mom’s homeland of the Netherlands im rolling through signs/lights if its safe to do so. If you dont i dont believe you for a second.

if you are a cyclist and you dont ignore signs/lights than i dont believe you or you live/bike in a part of the country ive never been to. btw, i am totally in favor of cyclists rolling through signs/lights if its clear.

sure, its like me as a regular sized human is equal in destructive abilities as a 2 ton car doing X mph. Sure.. see, its physics!

I actually agree with you for the most part—people should behave responsibly. As someone who cycles everywhere I do strive to ride safely.

The 2.5L Subaru engine was the giveaway.

In an ironic twist, the value of this particular car will now skyrocket due to the amount of attention it’s now getting and these same people are going to sue each other to get it back.  <cue wacky music>

Kinda weird to ask kids about Cobain’s death in that manner...or am I being too uptight here?

That just sounds awful: “hey kid, that musician that (might) mean a lot (everything) to you? He’s dead. Head gone. Yep, dead.”

So...how do you feel about that?”

First he was a replacement caddy

“Faces Lawsuit Alleging” is both completely factual and not insinuating guilt or complicity. “Did Jerry Seinfeld sell a fake Porsche for $1.5 mil” would be clickbait.

Is he or is he not facing the lawsuit? I stated the facts of the allegations, and have given my take on it in the body copy. Just because an article title is enticing you to learn more does not mean it is clickbait.

I’m thinking there probably was a more cost effective way to generate that number of jobs for a single decade than spend 70.5 billion in taxpayer funds.

“Looks like heads up basketball to me.”

Probably. My guess is that it’s going to be more or less a Transit Connect pickup.  And if that’s all it is, it will be the most awesome small truck built in 30 years.

I’m not sure you understand how turbos work, exactly. Yes, they may in fact be generating positive pressure at all times (they aren’t) or even a vast majority of the time, but a turbo itself does very little to increase power output. Rather, it allows for the ADDITION OF MORE FUEL to the cylinder, which is then burnt

I can find a dozen responses in this very thread, in addition to thousands of tweets, that show people freaking out.

Don't quit your day job.

lol

“We look at, how does the car work together,” some random aftermarket tuner said. “What is the chassis balance, what is the powertrain for that, and where we landed on that—900hp 2Jz swap provides us with the best combination of vehicle power and acceleration to the weight and chassis.”
