By that definition, any modded Dodge Neon or SX 2.0 is also rice.

Isn't the math wrong in that case?
Some concepts just take a lot longer. I remember the Hyunda HCD-1 concept, which sort of turned into the fugly 1st-gen Tiburon, which sort of mutated into the better-looking 2nd-gen Tiburon, but which only just found the proper translation in the Genesis Coupe...
"No shit! You think??"
Great. Now they surely WILL. Thanks a lot!
Pretty young, ain'tcha?
Redundancy is redundant - shit is already amphibious.
Maybe, but I bet the LFA would have the edge in all-around visibility.
Like "why on earth would you paint it THAT shade of green?" :-)
Easy: it's the push to maintain and exceed standards for quality and innovation. I totally saw this within the first ten seconds.
Awesome! Where was that fist-pump taken from?
Without proper overall tuning, any car with 1000 hp can be a nauseating shitbox. Just a more dangerous one.
NASCAR still uses 5-lug? Hmm.
Don't forget those silly panels in front of the popup headlights, which quite often would flutter at speed. Ugh. Coupled with sped-up footage: double-ugh.
Oh, well NOW you're talking reality. :-)
Seriously? I always knew that KITT's turbo (jump) boost was not merely more horsepower directed to the rear wheels, but involved a massive blast of air vectored downward (say, roughly 45 degrees from vertical) beneath the engine. I mean, how else were you going to raise the nose and take the whole car with you?
The reasons have been pointed out by others. Namely, wanting increased auditory pleasure for oneself (tailoring at will) without imposing one's asshat attitude on the neighbors.
Jeezus, what kind of turnip was used to film that?
LOL. Great scene; I should watch that whole movie again. Risky Business actually boasts several great cinema moments, including one with Rebecca DeMornay.
The color and rear wing wreck it for me - because of those two specific features, I will never have a desktop wallpaper of that first FnF Supra.
