As tough as it is to swallow, not every bad thing that happens in the world has to, or should, be “fixed” by America. This will do nothing but cause more death.

I don’t disapprove but I also don’t understand the entire situation and its consequences, and unfortunately I don’t believe my country’s leader does either.

I also felt like this article did an excellent explanation of the distinction. As a white trans woman, I can only speak to the gender identity side of things, but I think for me part of it is that trans folks grow up surrounded by both men and women. We experience both “male” and “female” culture, insofar as one can…

Amen. Pace yourself, seriously. Don’t give yourself a rage stroke with every single Trump story. Whether it’s an intentional strategy or simply the result of a constant flow sheer dumbfuckery and evil, there’s a real danger that we’re all going to get burnt out before this motherfucker’s been in office for a month.

Some of us aren’t ready to just hand over our rights to the government (something I thought Republicans were staunchly against). The detainment of green card holders is not ok! The broad, sweeping EO that is all publicity and has zero national security substance is not ok! The White House and CBP ignoring a judiciary…

I would say her actions were ignorant, not evil.

I also (sort of) get her comparison- not many mexicans drink Margaritas and wear sombreros but many tolerate it (or even expect it) at a Mexican restaurant or mexican themed celebration. Still she should know better...
