I called Nintendo and devs offloading data from the cart onto consumers wallets/microSD cards before the switch launched. People were doubting but there wasn’t even a delay, it started pretty much as soon as the games started coming out. Wasn’t hard considering the Vita started doing that....arguably far worse given

The irony is, I’d bet most of them use adblock for the web. Oh but if it’s sony? “Darling, come right in!”

Hah, wasn’t aware how bad it got on XB, but PS3 you have to actually scroll to the PSN then down to the what’s new thing. You have to look for them. It’s not on your dash going “BUY THIS GAME PLOX”

Not to ruin the gift of another but..maybe selling these would make for a more fun time.

I don’t have much experience with them to be honest, I purchased one for my dad and got the ad supported one. A tablet for 50 bucks where he can watch netflix or whatever?

I’m not even making a big deal about it either. It’s just annoying.

Most games on PS4 and XB1 are local hosted sans the big ones like Battlefield. As in, they’re hosted on a player’s console that’s in the match. So the likes of Borderlands and CoD, there’s very little server costs in terms of multiplayer. Hence why when someone leaves you’ll often see a host migration. Even if that

I don’t recall XB360 having ads at the start, but after the ....3rd? Dash update they started shoving ads in there for sure.

Still annoying they’re advertising to you on your hardware that you paid for.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here. I don’t care how it’s been discounted and I don’t care what is included with their service. The ads are something that shouldn’t be there after you’ve paid them already for all this stuff.

Kindle Fire, stop me if I’m wrong but it has an entire library of games you can get on it, so, it’s not far off. On top of that if nothing has changed there is an amazon games console complete with controller.

That hasn’t been true for the PS4 or XB1, or the original Wii apparently.

Or, some realize that in previous iterations of their own device that they bought they didn’t have ads on them, at all. Instead we got demo discs.

That it’s annoying that they do it in the first place.

Love this generation of consoles, you pay a bunch of money for them, then money for online (for some reason) then on top of that, ads on your device.

It was, EA removed a boat load of stuff when Origin went up.

I have several games that were removed from steam and still fully playable. Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, Gattling Gears etc.

Like last time, I seriously cannot find this coupon I’m supposed to clip.

Sony made a pretty clear statement on older titles, they think they look bad and don’t get why people like them.

I beg to differ.

I think Pai will get over it though, he’s got millions and millions of dollars in bribes er-lobbying to bandage up those wounds.
