The poor cow.
The poor cow.
Have you seen “Love” on Netflix? The one with Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs. One episode has them on a date to Magic Castle, I think.
An experienced educator would have noted a teachable moment and engaged with the protestors. Maybe.
Hours later, Paris Dennard was just on CNN with Don Lemon saying Trump had amazing listening session after the press left.

She endured so much tragedy from early on, accordung to obituary I just read. I had forgotten about her only son’s death by gun.
Thank you for compiling this. Nebraska also saw fraternity members yelling, “No means yes” and holding signs like “I was told there’d be cake.” http://journalstar.com/news/local/education/unl-s-title-ix-office-to-investigate-statements-made-to/article_4f6b115f-2623-541b-99cf-d166efffcbf1.html
I was worried DT’s “Access Hollywood” tape would influence young men and lead to increased sexual assaults by that demographic. Never did I imagine elderly chauvinistic men would feel empowered to assault women - coworkers, strangers, anyone. I am so naive.
It’s embarrassingly ignorant. I’m mortified. I can’t. Even. On so many levels, this is so wrong.
This friend was referring to wars with other countries. But civil war seems possible.
This sort of happens when I buy adult diapers for my elderly parent with male and female clerks. It feels different than no-bag tampon purchases though.
Close friend just told me of her daughter’s sudden insanity with conspiracy theories and alt-right b.s. To the point that she can’t even talk to her. Be safe.
Trust your instincts.
Anybody watch Jen Kirkman’s new Netflix special? I dig much of her material, especially stuff about being happy alone. Check it out. It’s called “Just Keep Living.” Her first special is also still on there. It’s called, “I Will Die Alone and I’m fine with that.”
Jen Kirkman has a clever bit on her new Netflix special on what it would be like if men were the ones who menstruated. (She also has some great stuff about traveling alone and having to go to the library back in the day to find out sexual reproduction info (there was no Internet.) I totally did that.)
Close friend working in IC is mortified. He says war is imminent
There’s a summary of some of the interview, none, however, of the part where he talks about being content alone. But there’s a link to listen to the interview so it should be included there. I remember listening to this and being in awe of his candidness about his hospitalization and suicide attempt.
For sure. It’s called “Exodus.” It’s gripping. Everyone should watch it. And yes, even my conservative father didn’t switch channel to early news. There’s a guy from Gambia making his way across the Sahara. I hope he makes it.
My conservative father started huffing and puffing at the sight of Clinton. So he turned to some PBS documentary about Syrian refugees and trafficking, something he would never watch.
Tim Gunn told Fresh Air a year or so ago that he is committed to solitude and it’s fine. I liked how he said it and I happen to feel the same way. Sure, that aching for companionship creeps in but not as much as the joy I experience not dealing with others’ psychoses. Be open to life but mostly be who you are
