Such as? Name me one Batman writer that hasn’t taken the character, decided his own direction and capitalized on it. Morrison did it with Batman RIP and then the ensuing Batman and Robin and Batman Inc - which Bruce publically throws support to Batman, then legitimizes all international Batmen, which was stupid but

So it’s a problem that a female has those features? Seriously think about it. If you draw a shot from the front, you’re going to get breasts. Drawn from the side and you will get the curves of the buttocks, and the breastline. Which will in turn seem attractive to some viewers. No matter how you portray the female

Forget just Starro, how about just the show in general! This is the most “comic book” show on TV. Metahumans, actual powers, a decent team and writing. The use of Mark Hamil (fav episode so far). The only annoyance I would have is if they used Carol Ferris, their use of female characters not named Caitlin Snow has

Actually it’s a standard back 3/4 shot. Fashion models and anatomy lessons use this pose as a way to illustrate how the back moves to the side and then front. From a fashion perspective this allows the seamstress to showcase the way an outfit flows from the back and along the side-seams. It’s fairly common.

Well it’s Morrison. He has always been naive. Even as good as he is at times. What I meant by stick was that it’d be a few years before Bats was Bruce again. He knew it wouldn’t be permanent, but wanted a few years of no Bruce. In contrast to the “Year without Superman” and such from the 90’s.

This is the ending of one of my favorite Joker stories. He kidnaps Robin (Tim Drake) for a magical slay-ride through Gotham (Detective Comics . The jokes and quips (as well as the murders) are so poignant. Especially where he goes through a Drive-Thru(see below). It’s like Joker’s version of the film Falling Down.

Not to mention the Christmas special where he kidnaps Robin and takes him on a mad Slay-Ride. It’s one of the best stories ever. His fall at the end should have killed him, but didn’t.

Sadly, not so ambiguous to Brian Bolland. He had Moore write the ending as though Batman killed him. DC made them change it, which is why the raindrops are repeated. They weren’t supposed to be there.

That’s essentially what is happening. Read the back-up story and by Part 4 it’s pretty clear what’s going on. Best line Joker’s ever reused with a slightly different take -

No Man’s Land - Joker muders Gordon’s wife and then allows himself to be arrested. Taunts him on the steps of the courthouse (or city hall can’t remember) to end him for ruining his family. Gordon shoots out his knees in the hopes it paralyzes him. To which Joker laughs recalling Babs. Given the choice, no. Gordon

Watch the Director’s Cut version. The death scene is wholly different.

You mean like every single Comic writer who ever lived? Because that’s all they are past the creators, fan-fiction writers. Every single one of em, who all fell in love with the character as a kid and wanted to tell their own story.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Actually, Grant Morrison wanted it to stick. That’s why he headed up the amazing Batman and Robin title for so long. Batman RIP was supposed to be the characters death for quite some time. Dan Didio really needs to step down from DC.

That’s from the Batman: Endgame that’s wrapping up currently in Nu52. It’s been a pretty interesting read, and just as insane as it should be. It’s the follow-up to Death of the Family.

I hear what you’re saying, but they still wouldn’t understand how to use their speed/strength appropriately. That’s what I meant by adjusting, not just to the atmosphere which is what the masks were for. The fight scene with Faora is a good example of that. While it’s comic book logic that they’d just show up and be

They were bred for their role on a planet without the use of Super-powers. They had no inkling of what would happen in Earth’s Atmosphere. They got that part right. However, they learned their powers waaaay to fast, and Kal essentially telling Zod how he accomplished this was still badly scripted.

Thank you for saying so.

Till Bane explains it again while beating him. Then when he acknowledges that he can’t keep going after returning to Gotham. Or that he’s using a suit that has already been shown to enhance his ability to move and fight...

You need to read the Batgirl “reboot” then. They cover this topic exceedingly well.
