Oh I didn't say it was a bad thing. At all. The only thing I will disagree on is the claim that DC doesn't allow their second-tier characters a chance to shine. That's not true. Most of their TV and animated success was based on the Justice League and it's storylines not heavily featuring Batman and Superman.

That was what I eventually realized with the show. They couldn't use Batman for a TV show so they did everything they could to make Arrow as Batman like as possible lol. I mean seriously. Felicity Smoak might as well be Oracle - although she is the best thing in the DCTV Universe.

Insurrection is a bad Star Trek movie. Now as a two part episode of amazing production values it's fantastic. I love it. Hell I love Star Trek: The Motion Picture because it's a fantastic Sci-Fi film with larger than life questions and consequences. However. Insurrection just doesn't work as a motion picture. Yes Into

It actually looks like they re-edited the original CGI from the first movie and left it half finished just to get the teaser out. Fail boat.

I agree with the first part.

"I came to Casablanca for the breasts."

Right up there with the reason for the fan service in Onechanbara. We have to get blood on our skin or else our powers don't grow stronger! I died.

And Tim Burton directing, and Danny Elfman scoring

That scene...literally is the easiest thing in the world to do in animation. It is a couple of highly detailed static background images. The city is set in front of the SDF to give it the illusion of depth. Those lights? Are literally three or four cells of airbrushed paint so they look like beams of light, and are

I will answer your question, but I will state this first. Whether it is an exception or a rule, you stated that 2D animation was not practical and was impossible in achieving. It is your opinion of the above 3D animated movie is better, but you stated it as a fact. It is not. 3D productions are also higher in cost

Quick search. No luck. Even the translators are rather dim on this. Groot is directly translated as just Groot, or Groot DevwI'ghor jIH which is suuuuuper roughly I Am Groot, Monarch of Planet X. His distinguished title.

I've only ever broken one phone. It was an LG from way back in 08. It had a flip out keyboard and when I went to rotate the phone to flip out the keyboard it slipped out of my hand. It rotated on its decent and smacked, glass first, into a metal table leg. I literally stared at it for a second in disbelief lol.

And then Coulson starts ranting about having an Asgardian Scepter through his heart and....blah, blah, blah.

I think in this case it does ;). being facetious here. This was supposed to be Han's death in the original Trilogy. He wasn't supposed to return at all. It took a lot of convincing from Lucas to get Ford back for Return of the Jedi, and even then he still thought his character was going to be killed off at the end.

Now playing

For the past decade or so, there has been a steady change in animation from the traditional (and vastly more time consuming/expensive) 2D style to the 3D style which uses 3D computer models to, in essence, replicate the 2D style. While most mecha are done flawlessly with 3D models these days, it is still easy to tell

and for apparent fan service lol

As cool as the art is, and it is very cool, it doesn't make sense. The entire film, both of them, are set on the West Coast. Why would there be any reason for Ceaser to make his way to Manhattan? Once he's established himself as the leader and they form their own society, I'm not sure there'd be a reason for an ape

and Spider-Man Blue. I read that almost every couple months.

This. This is one of the greatest single series not tied to a major story-arc EVER printed in Comics. It is the definitive view on his relationship with both Mary Jane and Gwen Stacey. How much her death still effects him, and his beginning college years. This should be a film already. Period.
