RIGHT? I am so tired of this idea that we are defined by the titles of “wife/mother/job” as if that is what makes us worthy of respect*.

I’ve had my rescue kitten since she was 5 months old. Had only owned dogs, never cats before. I was in college raising her with 0 help from any previous cat owners... she was held like this all the time since it felt most natural to me. Now she purrs like crazy when I do it.

Most of the cat’s I’ve known would not include the word “please.” Half the time there’s the implied threat of light blood loss.

Mine only lets me carry him, period. He’ll tolerate being carried on his back but mostly he loves to be held vertically with his paws around my neck or on my shoulder. He will squirm like a motherfucker if anyone else tries to carry him though he won’t scratch or bite because unlike most cats, he’s way too fucking…

That’s the same impulse that makes men think that a waitress treating them pleasantly means she’s hot for them. So of course the judge would buy it! It’s incomprehensible to me.

One of my cats lets me hold him like this, but usually not for super long. He will beg to be held though close against your chest (taps your leg repeatedly) and will often fall asleep in your arms. Unfortunately, he usually begs to be held while I’m making dinner and is not always gentle with his attention taps.

Bail and probation costs are emergency costs that people assume we all would pay before anything else, but not if you are mom needing amoxicillin for your chikds ear infection or maybe just a break this month to buy them soccer shingaurds or lunch money. In my decades of owning cats I’ve never had one that would not let me know instantly when it doesn’t like how its being held.

We just put our baby kitty to sleep today :( Actually, she was not a baby, she was 16. It was time (probably liver failure). She was a sweetie and partially blind all her life, and also very petite. She did not like being held whatsoever but she was so up for cuddling that we pretty much just called her "couch buddy"…

And if your cat -really- trusts you when you hold them like this, their spine disintegrates completely and they turn into kitty putty which is, frankly, magic.

Yeah also Rihanna is a straight up knockout on another level from mere mortals. Her weight barely grazes the surface of what she’s got going on. I’ve got stretch marks, curves and a belly. It’s not heroic. It’s the human body.

Does the fact that he actually posed as and impersonated her online make it any more prosecutable? That seems like a distinction between this case and other cases I’ve read about where the photos were shared but not in the form of impersonation. Especially since he used details of her private life in order to pretend…

Let’s not forget some women have fake butts. And Blake only had a butt when she was pregnant.
