Republicans have been getting their voters to vote against their own best interest for decades.

Heres’s a guide to Trump’s foreign policy. First, think - what would Putin want?

Politically, I get your point. On the other hand, from an outsider’s perspective, a shuttered factory is just the symptom of an economy that’s in transition from manufacturing to something else.. Like technology.

Well, duh! All this talk of reducing the number of German cars in the US obviously distracted the test driver who is concerned for his job. Little Franz needs braces after all!

Why would they need to come down on BMW

Don’t forget the “AUTOPILOT-EQUIPPED” part of the headline (even for crashes when it was being manually driven)

I have a feeling if this were Tesla, the article would be a bit more like:

Being that this happened on a public road, I wonder if the German authorities will come down on BMW, or if this will get shrugged off and filed under ‘accidents happen’.

Gas is only cheap in America

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. I would like to think of it as a snopes, but well funded and for author/blogger/journalist and company in general rather then individual articles. (Which if you haven’t heard, snopes is in financial trouble!)

USB-C is USB, so your point is invalid.

What are you talking about? What laptop does Apple ship that doesn’t have any USB ports on it?

How much would it have cost GM to fix the ignition switch issue?

To be fair to Tesla, isn’t this a choice made by all automakers? While you have to adopt the minimum standards, everyone makes their own choices on safety, usually to save money.

There are a lot of people richer than Musk and yet they didn’t start the modern electric car era. Nor the private space vehicle era. Yes, he has people to make technical decisions but somebody has to have vision. It’s like how Steve Jobs’ return saved Apple and Steve Ballmer led Microsoft into mediocrity after Bill

Yeah, the Model X is just too damn ugly. The S is actually good looking (the 3 has weird proportions and doesn’t wear the S’s styling well).

It seems to me that you can substitute ‘Amazon’ for ‘Tesla’, or any number of other new tech companies. Or old real estate companies for that matter - seems to be a kerfuffle over subcontractors stiffed, over visa programs being abused, etc. Someone should investigate.

You seem like a smart fellow, but why can’t you differentiate between a company and a subcontractor? UAW will never get FCA to buy you the nice watch, so stop carrying their water.

Jalopnik is gonna be culled from the Gizmodo Media herd when it’s revealed that Ryan Felton is shorting TSLA stock by parroting every negative Tesla story he can find.
