I understand this argument. But there must be something behind the 97% consumer satisfaction as reported by Consumer Reports, right?

Good point, though I was mostly referring to the direct-buy, no haggle experience.
Does anyone on the planet see Tesla as downmarket of BMW???
If this had a larger range I’d consider it over the Volt. But 14 miles is not enough for me to pay that much for it.
How is this even remotely a Model 3 fighter? It starts off $10K higher (and this is BMW so even worse) and it is not an electric vehicle at all. I mean ... wat?
The parking lines have been photoshopped in after the car was parked.
The car in the picture is parked within the confines of the parking space; are you sure it’s a BMW?
I think it’s pretty hard for BMW to compete with Tesla using a plug-in hybrid; lots of the appeal of the Teslas to a lot of people is that it’s fully 100% electric. With this thing that’s not the case, and might attract a slightly different crowd.
If it wasn’t already obvious it’s 100% fake, the photo editor missed a huge detail by not changing the rear-end shadow to reflect a shorter vehicle. Good effort, though.
Enzo said the same thing about engines with less than 12 cylinders, and road cars with engines in the back. He probably would have said that about automatic transmissions. Guarantee in 25 years you wont be able to buy a ferrari you drive yourself. Just like right now you cant buy a Ferrari you shift yourself.
An automatic, 440o pound 12 year old Mercedes? I can think of a lot of reasons I’d rather have a Miata.
I’m not a 55-year old divorcée with bad taste.
You said “given”. When you give something away, it is no longer yours. Taking something back by force, that was once yours, is still what it is.
The latter of course.
