They've done some other stuff here and there - most recently on the last Sturgill Simpson record - but they're not exactly ubiquitous. I mean - how many acts have use for a live, non-synthesized horn section in the first place?

I'm all for this if only to see the Dap Kings get some cash. I'm a little bit worried about them since Sharon died. They were a successful touring band for a long time there, but I can't imagine they ever made HUGE money. I love almost all of the DapTone stuff, and lots of them play with all kinds of other DapTone

Look Nickelodeon. I like you and all. And this is all well and good. But I just have to ask - what does a fella have to do to get you to consider releasing the third season of Pete and Pete? I knows there's the torrents and the YouTubes and whatnot, but it's just not the same, man. What do you want me to do?

Part of it is that I've severely scaled back on monthly comics, but - I seem to have really fallen off of my Oni purchases. Once upon a time, they were absolutely my jam - Hopeless Savages, Queen and Country, Local, Wasteland - all some of my favorite books. But lately, not nearly as much. As much as I love what

Dear Sir Viking -

Godspeed and good luck Sir Viking.

I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor, Sir Viking.

"German music festival Rock am Ring has been forced to ask attendees to evacuate today…"

I do so hope that Mister Viking turns up alive and unharmed. His missives on these comment boards have brought a smile to the face of many a reader, and after his strange stories of these last few weeks, I will admit to some concern for his safety.

Good sir -

Holy shit a post from ZMF! It's like seeing a once common bird now hunted to near extinction in the wild! Good to see you!

The solo on "Not Fade Away" by Buddy Holly. It's stupid-simple, but it sounds to me something like pure joy, and it makes me happy every single time that I hear it.

Iron Giant, Saving Private Ryan, and GotG would all be off the table under this setup. Unacceptable, I say!

I go with semi-tangential pop culture references. My older dog is an Alaskan Klee-Kai (which is basically just a smallish husky), and he looks very nordic, so his name is Nanook, as in Nanook of the North. Younger dog is a whippet who can run like mad, so his name is Wally after Wally West - the Flash that I grew up

For me, Robert's Rebellion is the thing I'd least like them to pursue. As a more or less straight up prequel, we know too much about what's coming down the road, and one of the true pleasures of GoT is having no clear idea of who's got plot shielding and who doesn't.

This shit has got me truly depressed. I can't even take solace in the idea that if this was to become the law of the land, the people who would be most burned by it would point the blame in the right direction. No, somehow or another, it's all going to be spun to be the Dems' fault. Or somehow be Obama's fault in

True. It would be a very different kind of show, at the very least.

Dunk and Egg could be interesting, just because the tone is a bit different.

Dunk and Egg?

Yep - that's the one.
