I recently finished watching the first season of "Fortitude" on Amazon Video (highly recommended, by the way). Let's just say that I have a newfound respect for wasps. So - you go Wasp!

I hear you. Ms. Toshiro Solo just brought ours to the Mac Fix-It-Shop here in town (no actual Apple Store here for at least an hour's drive), and it's gonna be in to see if they can pull data off for the next 8 - 10 days. Good times.

Honestly no idea. It's going to a Mac repair place tomorrow to get checked out, so - I hope so.

Fuck (A) my MacBook for apparently dying, and (B) myself for doing a shitty shitty job of backing up to my external hard drive over the years. Due to a combination of the above and a sell-off of all physical copies of music when I moved over the summer, I'm likely to have lost a substantial amount of my music

If it's bad, it'll really Sting, though.

I Dune know about this, you guys…

Probably accurate, but I had so much residual good will built up for the character from the initial Alias run that I was always just happy to see her.

I would blow this off entirely, and it's fair to say that I'm pretty skeptical about it, but - Del Toro hasn't lead me wrong yet, so I'll give it a chance.

This is a reluctant up vote…

Our new PEOTUS is roughly as intelligent as Captain Brannigan, so - that seems apt. Also roughly as likely to lead us into disaster.

I think Knockemstiff is my favorite work by him. It's all short fiction, sort of linked together. Really good stuff. It can still be funny, but not as broad as I found this one to be. I'm sure you're right, and that it was intentional. Might just be the difference of me going in with an expectation based on what
