Does a heavy sigh denoting severe depression count as a word?

I couldn't get into the new Pollock book. I finished it, but I had a hard time picking it up at night, and I kind of had to force myself to do it. And I loved The Devil All The Time and Knockemstiff. The brothers in this one felt more like caricatures than characters to me, but your mileage may vary.
Pretty sure I'm getting the new HC Prince of Cats for Christmas, so - probably that. Looking forward to it.
You're right, of course, in that this version of Jessica is definitely the one that has proven most fruitful from a story telling standpoint. But I can't help but think that maybe someone could have come in and given the "got her shit slightly more together" version of Jess that we were seeing at the end of The Pulse…
Anyone here reading Jessica Jones? It feels very much a continuation of Alias, which - I can't decide if I think that's a good thing or not. On the one hand, it really does feel like the same book that I was reading 15 (!) years ago, which is nice, because I really loved that book. On the other hand, it feels a…
That's true, and I honestly do want the show to be his and his alone (well - his and Frost's), but as much as I enjoy watching him eat donuts, I'd almost rather have nothing at all until it premiers if they're not going to show us something.
Fiffe really has done some great work. It probably helped me to find it in that I lived in Brooklyn for the last several years, and he was at a lot of the smaller local cons with the trades, and that my comics shop (Forbidden Planet forever!) carried the singles. Now that I've left, finding the "next Copra" -…
Sure! Here you go:
I get it, I suppose, and I'd MUCH rather going in knowing nothing at all than knowing too much, but this was announced so damn long ago it feels like ages, and all we've gotten are some still pics, and really nothing substantive. I suppose there's a weird part of me that won't believe it's actually real until I see…
I would admit to Copraphilia. I have an undue inclination for the book.
That's what Copra is for.
That's what I was thinking. I don't want to know real story beats or anything, but - a decent trailer (do you call it a trailer for a tv show?) would be great to get a feel for what we're looking at.
I'm ready to see some actual factual footage from the show now. They have to have enough filmed to put together something, right?
I would be completely skeptical about this, but - at this point, I feel like Villeneuve has earned at least being given a shot. Still seems like a long shot, but - dude does have a consistent track record.
Yeah, there have been a couple so far. I believe this will be the third. I have to assume that at some point, when there's enough material to warrant it, they'll collect them into an additional volume.
I'm actually good with the single story-arc hardcovers. I've got them in the slipcase the houses the full set (and actually, I have them all signed by Hill and Rodriguez, as well!).
Number 11 on the list of most Googled actors?
I will admit that a part of this is that I (A) still purchase a lot of physical media, and (B) have enough anal retentive qualities that when I want my shelving to be alphabetical, I want my shelving to be alphabetical, which then can result in entries in a series being placed out of order. I say sequel number and…
I'm mostly fine with the F&F titles, to be honest, because they're all basically the same movie anyway, but I DO think they screwed up by not naming this new one "The Fast And The Furiosa."
Leading to the inevitable next sequel, "The Shame of the Planet of the Apes."
