His version of "Mary, Mary (Why ya Buggin'?)" really changed things up in terms of how I see the nature of the virgin birth in relation to the divinity of Christ.

Consistently and thoroughly.

They really did, for all intents and purposes, decide to Poochie up the Joker for this steaming turd of a movie. The goddamn Joker. Arguably the most iconic super hero villain of the last 80 years or so. Concept was not broken, and certainly didn't need fixing. Gah.

I actually thought he was well cast as Luthor, but the plot of that movie had Luthor doing such crazy shit (Why yes! I would like to buy up some real estate on this new island made of jagged rocks that has no vegetation or animal life living on it!) that it kind of didn't matter.

See where they went wrong is that they forgot to rasta-fy him by 10% or so.

"Win"?

Yeah, I agree - I don't think he's a bad actor at all, I just think his choice of material has been iffy from the get-go.

You'll never guess what her most famous album is titled!

I'm trying to think of whether or not there's any movie that he's been in that I like without any reservations, and I'm coming up empty. Independence Day isn't my thing. Bad Boys is double plus not my thing. I guess maybe the first Men in Black, but even that's just sort of OK (except for Dinofrio). For whatever

Wow - I had honestly forgotten that he was in it. That probably speaks more to the movie as a whole than to his performance, though.

Does Will Smith still count as a huge movie star? He had a solid run there for quite a while, but - I can't remember the last thing he was in that was really successful.

I'm just whistling past the graveyard on that front.

For my own sanity and well being, I've decided that the only news I'm watching for the next several years is the News Hour on PBS. It's just about the only actual news cast left standing.

Silly Dikachu. Butt. You suck his butt.

Really an underrated band. Miller's solo stuff mostly works quite well, too.

I'm in the same boat; I love me some Devo, and people think it's nuts. I think I've said it on here before, but my go-to answer for favorite cover song of all time is their cover of Satisfaction. I don't really buy that Mick Jagger can't get no satisfaction. Mothersbaugh, though - sure, I can believe that. Also -

I'd go with either Pinkerton or The Blue Album. Blue is quite a bit less emotionally vulnerable than Pinkerton, but it's still a damn fun record.

Ah Jill Sobule, who kissed a girl before Katie Perry made it cool.

Please be good, please be good, please be good, please be good…

Between this and The Hepatitis Bathtub, he's sure doing his part to show the history of the band and the label. I thought it was his job to keep punk rock elite!
