Ahh, the ever-present “potential backlog/wishlist crisis.” I suffer from this same exact thing. I made a list of all the games I own and all the platforms I own each one on, both completed and not completed, each region I own each verion for, but that wasn’t enough; I then added all the games I WANT to play to the

I did not get this trophy, nor do I hunt after trophies for the sake of hunting after trophies, but I don’t think this is a big deal. The game also rewards you for murdering as many sheep as you can in a side quest just because one of them killed a dude’s wife and he wants revenge. And you can repeat the quest as many

Gotta POG

Oh fuck, and this is the ONE Hot Shots Golf game I bought from the shop since it was so cheap. Now when I eventually get around to playing it, I’ll be looking for it.

The portion immediately after the bolded phrase reads: “...will enable users to record their voice chats on PS5 and submit them for moderation review.”

This always bothered me as well, because nobody made the bottom button the confirm button except for some western devs (the only game for SNES that comes to mind is Donkey Kong Country series), and no console made it the standard (in Japan anyway) until the Dreamcast came around, then the Xbox copied their layout, and

But then you’re mixing menu functions with in-game functions, and they shouldn’t have to share buttons. In menus, X should be cancel and O should be confirm, and in-game, X should be jump, and the rest of the buttons can be whatever else the devs want them to be. But jumping should always be X in my opinion. That

The color is actually exactly what it means in Japan as well, not only the symbols. A big red O mean “okay” or “correct” and a big blue X means “NOOOO”

I played the Japanese demo and it’s mad wacky fun lol, they make lots of Dragon Quest jokes too.

So they’ll call it Final Fantasy VII Remake II

Megami is misspelled twice in the article. I can’t wait for SMT5!

Oh, you’re right! I forgot they put “7" inside Biohazard.

To be fair, in their home country the games are ALL called Biohazard, so in 7, Resident Evil was the subtitle and had the VII hidden, whereas Village is ALSO the subtitle here and has VIII hidden. It’s very inconsistent with their logic.

I think it’s more along the lines of the fact that the girl in question is NOT in a relationship with the guy and maybe doesn’t even know he exists, but the guy acts nice to her or defends her in some way and gets called a simp. Pretty much the same as the “I hope she sees this, bro” replies.

Whoa are those actual 3D character models with black outlines in the JSR GBA port?

I played Silent Hill when I was 11 years old, back when it first released. I think that must have desensitized me, because I LOVE horror games now (a few still make me nervous but I love that), and yeah, movies never scare me anymore either.

Dang, yeah, everything in the game was SUPER easy up to that point (some fights definitely lengthy, but not difficult), then I insta-died 4 times in a row to the bloodhounds. It was super puzzling lol, I eventually just used Barrier and Haste and that’s how I won, never tried using Aerith lol

Thanks for this article! I beat the game and forgot to go back and try to figure that out, but after reading this, I realized I wouldn’t have figured that out by myself anyway lol

I personally love these arcade pads, playing Miku in the arcade is super fun and the way the buttons are aligned on the screen correspond with the way they’re laid out on the button pad, so it’s the best way to play (in the case of Future Tone, at least, not the other ones).

Yeah I picked up my copy at the store today, thanks goodness!
