A friend of mine recommended Barakamon to me about 2 episodes in, and I felt that it wouldn't be as great. Man, was I glad to be wrong.

This show had everything: great characters, solid backstory, wonderful music, and it basically set itself way high on the bar that is slice-of-life comedy anime. Always a thrill to

These are literally so fucking awesome. I wish had even some ounce of talent like some of these people.

I misread "exchanged words" as "exchanged swords" for a second and momentarily thought this story was much cooler than it actually was.

I really wanna get Cloud, but I can't shop at Amiami since they do not undervalue the item, so taxes fuck me up later on.

Best!

._. did you live under a rock?

With you, Toru. While the lore has a great melancholy sense of mystery to it, the gameplay and combat are what keep me coming back. I don't need a killer story to lose myself in these games.

You got it, with most bosses I was able to survive and learn but Manus was just a major slog to get to then he would pretty much slaughter me no matter what I was using and I had to start all over. Another problem that made me give up was that I couldn't go back to the main game once I got to Manus (or maybe it was

Not Four Kings, I got through them without too much trouble (yay for Havel's and the movement ring!). I think its the big bad in the DLC island where the hand grabs you and pulls you in.

Just looked it up, it's Manus, that guy is a jerk who finally overcame my soul and took my will to go on =(

This, I played through most of DS1 and for the life of me thinking back I can't recall any of the story at all. To me is just seemed like a Japanese attempt to make a cryptic and mysterious game and in my opinion most Japanese stories are already cryptic and confusing.

I'm with you. Dark Souls lore sits squarely in the "who cares" zone with me. Can't beat the game play though.

DS1 was a masterpiece. in my 30 years of gaming I have not had an experience like it since FALLOUT3. Dont matter the order just play DS1, also!

All of this content seems awesome, but I am so stuck pretty early on. Some knight that, I think, I'm supposed to shoot with some ballistae. But he always murders me pretty quickly. Then you're stuck with no health, after a while. What a bummer.

I need Dark Souls 2 Lite!
