They already have a factory here in Lafayette, IN that builds all the Outback, Legacy, Impreza, and Ascent models for the North American market. It’s been here since the ‘80s.

Company I work for builds large, complex assemblies and we occasionally make cutaways for marketing. We don’t actually cut anything up usually, it’s easier to use 3D metal and plastic printers to make a pre-cut set of parts that’s “close enough” to get the point across.

Love the divided comments on this one.  These things are rare now and that’s why they command this price.  AWD/Stick/Turbo in a practical package.

Head gaskets shouldn’t be an issue for turbo 2.5s. The suspension from WRX wagons is a popular and cheap option for lowering the car without ruining the handling. The wheels are a matter of personal taste and not hard to change.
