Well said. I mean, unless it derails, there is only one path a train can take. Therefore avoiding it’s path, should not be a difficult thing to do.

740 in 2023. Journalism is too much for the kids around here.

Either people will learn or the dumb ones will be culled. I’m OK with either option.

Funny thing about railroad tracks - that’s where the TRAINS are. Train tracks are these really obvious things with long metal rails and concrete or wood things connecting them, surrounded by crushed rock. You really can’t miss them.

Now tell us how many Florida pedestrians have been killed by cars and trucks this year.

On the one hand, sure.  On the other hand, death by train is perhaps the easiest type of death to avoid already, and I’m not sure how possible it is to prevent a determined suicide.

the “midfield battle”.. like we know who is going to win, but I’m interested in the bunch of cars from 4-8th? really this is what is interesting in F1

I just taught my 25-year old son to drive a manual.

Have to disagree that it’s a stupid myth, or even just a myth at this point. Sure, there’s no difference between an auto or manual on the highway, when you’re just cruising in a straight line for hours in top gear. But every other situation, you’re STILL thinking twice about drinking your latte, texting etc with 5/6

This is why you don’t listen to celebs for advice on things they are not a subject matter expert in.

47 years of service—nearly half a century—from Voyager 1? I call that outcome amazing bang-for-the-buck. Well done, NASA. Well done.

And why was doggie running around where he could get hit by a car?

The giant police SUV with flashing lights (and a dashcam) wasn’t enough to keep this from happening. A few cones aren’t going to make a difference.

You’re already required to leave the lane next to a stopped police car open or at least slow down. But not everybody follows the rules.

This has actually been proven to be a myth for the most part. There have been quite a few studies showing “minimal” or “insignificant” differences in batteries that have almost exclusively been fast charged vs level 2 charged. Link below cites a couple of those studies for anyone interested.

Does DC Fast Charging

so just keep your EV between 30% and 80% ok. I do not want to sound like an range anxiety person but that leaves only 50% of the advertised range to play with.

Partial car at full price.  What a strategy!

For the last time, Cybertrucks are not for off-roading!

> Sadly the deputies didn’t list the guy’s @ so we could give him a follow and watch the video.

Oh, I can’t wait for people to do this on dry asphalt with super sticky tyre. “BOOM!” there goes the portals or axles.
