The 2005 race was entirely Michelin’s fault.  They should have either built a safe tire or let their teams run Bridgestones for this race. 

Just get the correct wrenches! Craftsman (I Think) invented these years ago as pliers - like self adjusting channel-locs.  All you will do is strip off the heads of anything that is tight or corroded.  Just do it the right way - it always takes less time in the long run.
