I think it’s more about people’s sensitivies to “bad experiences” that gets people riled up. If you can’t handle any bad experiences in life, maybe your focus shouldn’t be on video games :P
I agree. Movies have content in them all the time that could trigger people, but you don’t see them stopping the movie and flashing a message on screen. What is it about games that makes people think they need to be handled differently? If something in the game bothers you, turn it off and get a refund. Or just stop…
That’s essentially what it was like before greenlight and Valve ended up being an artificial bottleneck. They don’t have the resources to validate so many projects.
