It’s all digital purchases assigned to your account already, so there’s literally no benefit for “security” reasons because by NFT or not if you lose your account you lose the items.
I agree. Is it a good adaptation of the comic book? No. Is it a fun movie on its own terms? Absolutely!
I don’t know if anyone’s noticed or mentioned this, but Keanu Reeves seems truly delightful.
The erotic thrillers from the late 80s to the early 2000s fascinate me. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned either is they attracted a surprising number of somewhat arty directors who otherwise didn’t do much in Hollywood. Their movies aren’t necessarily on the better end of the erotic thriller, but you have a lot of…
The Shape of Water.
Gone Girl kinda?
Plot twist: Grey is behind the anomaly.
Yeah, that’s what I don’t get. Everyone talks about how interconnected the movies are.... But for the most part, it’s just 1-minute post-credit scenes advertising for a future known project. Aside from the obvious team -up movies, pretty much all of the movies are standalone with a hidden Easter egg here or there just…
Yeah, it seems like these movies might be working because there is not some detailed plan that every creative is locked into. If it’s really just a project’s writer going “I want this; can I have this?” and getting a “sure, we’ll toss that in after the credits over here,” then that seems way less intrusive than actual…
I wouldn’t exactly say that Black Widow “set up” Hawkeye just because Florence Pugh had a cameo 57% of the way through the 6 episodes.
To me, the most shocking thing here is that Igla actively lobbied to get Yelena to the Hawkeye show as the way she was introduced in it sure as hell didn’t feel like that. The opposite, actually, as it was more about the show deciding to unnecessarily focus on Echo and force her involvement into a fight that should…
Another good explanation, thanks. Like so many of these newfangled things, it’s simpler and stupider than I ever could have dreamed.
They offer no practical value in the real world, which is why they’re a completely unrelateable concept to people outside the NFT cult.
Okay, please someone explain NFTs to me. I looked it up, I know what it stands for, and that’s no help at all. What’s the value of them? What position do they occupy in our workaday world?
Exactly, the way they just immediately forgot about the dead guy was astonishing. Adira even said after they landed safely “I’m glad I came!” Followed by Michael and Tilly giggling about the whole misadventure in Tilly’s room after.
Someone pen a memo to Star Fleet stat:
Oh and completely agree about Book. He was probably the highlight of Season 3, one of the most promising new characters along with Adira, but the showrunners have somehow managed to ruin both him and Adira in one masterstroke of bad writing.
Tilly fan here too. Was very disappointed that they just dropped her taking the Starfleet Command Training Program storyline. Could have been an interesting insight into both how Starfleet handles this part of training, and Tilly’s character.
This show needs FAR MORE TIG, if for no other reason than “Jett Reno” is the best “p.i.” name in space or anywhere for that matter.
