Acting offended because Dr. Dre doesn’t care about GTA Online lol

Not really sure why you're so worked up about Dr Dre not knowing about x video game.

Are you under the impression that Dr. Dre has a morning meeting in the White House briefing room with his staff of researchers who tell him what video games are popular?

Lets boil this down to what it really is: he initially passed on a job offer because he didn’t think he was a good fit for it. A friend who is associated with the series showed him otherwise.

He.....did the job and made some money.  If he wasn't open minded he'd have said no when he heard "bring my playstation 4 over".  Just...stop trying to make a point that doesn't exist.  He had an uninformed stance, he ended up informed, he made something.  Adult dismissiveness would've been seeing it and STILL saying

You are correct and incorrect at the same time. He was dismissive of a game he thought was for kids because he doesn’t make stuff for kids. Once he was exposed to it and saw what it was about and the theme and story and freedom of the whole thing, he was clearly on board. If this was just him being dismissive of games

he’s willfully misinformed.

lmao what

“This is typical dismissiveness from adults that shouldn’t get a pass.”

I’m almost the age Dre was when 3 came out, and I get it.

No it’s not, he just isn’t a gamer. My girlfriend’s mom had never even heard of Fortnite. And he’s obviously heard of GTA, he just didn’t realize it was a game for adults. Remember.. he’s in his mid-50s. The fact that he ultimately ended up doing this should back that up - he just needed to be shown the game

Screen looking got so bad that a member of our group constructed a cardboard “blinder” to attach to his TV so each player could only view his own quadrant of the screen. Totally changed the game.

We carried a strict “No Oddjob” rule. Often, it was also implied that alliances were perfectly acceptable, but would not be configured in the pre-game settings. Just to keep things interesting.

Licence to Kill IS the best way to play, but it only works with certain weapons. Licence to Kill and explosives or automatics might as well be rolling dice.

(The friend I played the most GoldenEye with as a kid INSISTED on License to Kill mode, no matter the weapons in play. INSISTED. “It’s more fun this way.”)

I don’t know how cheating can really be defined in the screen looking era of first person shooters. If you aint cheatin’ you aint tryin’ is surely applicable  here.

The phrase of my generation.

“Due to his short height, he cannot be hit by the normal auto-aim gunfire (which simply shoots above his head). Instead the other player must stop moving to use the precise aim crosshairs to aim downward and deliberately at him. Because of this, Oddjob gives his user an unfair advantage and his use is often looked
