I don’t usually replay games, but I do like it when a new console can play games I haven’t finished from the old console.

generally no I do not replay games. Then again, I’ve probably played every version of Ocarina of Time multiple times each.

I don’t replay every game but there are some I go back to and Nintendo games are usually high on that list. Plus it’s pretty much given that games like Tear of the Kingdom and even Breath of the Wild are going to run a lot better in the new hardware, people just don’t want to buy them again to experience that

I think any book/show/game needs to be consumed twice to properly digest it, but it has to be good enough to justify doing so. Also, experiencing something unspoiled and spoiled are different, complementary experiences (which is why I’m so anti-spoiler).

Everyone’s backlog is getting bigger as games get longer and yes there are Switch games I bought for $40 that I’ve barely started playing in favor of playing another few runs of Hades. If I drop $400 on a Switch 2 or whatever, it would be incredible if I could just not have to spend money buying games for a while and

Okay, now you’re making me want to go play Mega Man X.

I don’t really replay a game unless it’s something like a multiple route thing. Rarely do I go back and fire up my old games though once I’ve moved on. I suppose about the only game I’ll occasionally go back and replay for fun is Mega Man X, mostly because I have the game memorized from my time playing it as a kid.

Nah, I never replay games. But it is still nice to be able to migrate games I'm currently playing to the next generation if there are some I haven't finished yet.

Honestly, FO3, NV, and Oblivion are all perfectly playable, if dated. The worst part of Oblivion are the close up character models, which can be cringy, but you get used to them.

If they’re going to remaster a 7th gen Fallout, remaster New Vegas you cowards. I will buy this game a 5th time. Yes, Obsidian made the game, but y’all have the same boss.

I appreciate the reduction in scope and increased focus on stealth but I’m struggling to muster much excitement for this. Maybe it’s because AC as a series has never particularly excelled at stealth. The original AC games weren’t good stealth games. Thief, Hitman and Splinter Cell were all vastly superior so pitching

Level-gated, action oriented structure of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla have been the worst aspects of the games. This is the first AC game I’m excited for since Syndicate (which I didn’t finish).

Or you know, it’s portable and you take it outside of your home...

the ps5's are deliberately designed curved so maximize the ventilated surface area on a flat surface. if they designed it to look like earlier playstations there would be more overheating issues. which is a problem in any case.

Yes, Count I have. Shame on you Sony! The PS5 Slim is just a PS5 in skinny jeans.

I can’t believe you’ve come here to console-shame. /s

Thats not a PS Slim... Thats a PS Fat...

Seems weird they didn’t ditch the ugly design of the regular PS5.

I must be in the extreme minority based on numbers, but I’ve massively cooled on Nintendo, and I wish I could play the small handful of excellent first party games on other platforms, because, to me, there is nothing else compelling about the Switch. Over the years I’ve found that:

The issue is not so much that the elevated rights-of-way were removed. It is that they were removed without first being replaced by subways. *That* is the problem.
